Prosafe MSV Regalia

Another challenge was the Prosafe MSV Regalia refurbishment project, in which PDE was supervising the HVAC engineering for Hertel Defence & Offshore (nowadays CKT Projects). The activities included basic design, detailed design, procurement, fabrication up to and including final delivery of a 221 man accommodation, complying with the demanding Norsok standards. The project team was able to meet the stringent deadline through using pre-fabricated cabins. The concept, based on plug & play philosophy, allowed an aggressive project schedule by parallel construction of the prefabricated cabins and the main structure.
