Drilling Jack-up CJ70

HSE has always been a primary topic in offshore design. For the redesign of the CJ70-X150A drilling jack-up from GustoMSC for Statoil (CAT J), PDE was asked to optimize the HVAC design in order to reduce the energy consumption within the boundaries of the Statoil regulations. In close cooperation with the GustoMSC design team, feasible and challenging solutions were found in reusing waste heat from various sources in combination with reduced HVAC loads.
